    How do you know what the seller’s motivation for the sale is??
    uh, i forgot you don't know, so all just assumption that the vendor has to do anything…
    Unless they just enjoy people viewing their house (or not getting any viewings if they are overpriced) then they must want to sell for some reason? The idea that a seller has nothing invested in the sale and holds all the cards and "doesn`t have to do anything" isn`t real world thinking, difficult or deluded sellers get left behind in falling markets.

    But the buyer can take their time and view multiple properties and probably find a cheaper or better one, the seller has just one property to sell or they are stuck.
