Morning everyone
Very windy again here this morning - it's blue bin day so there will be rubbish blowing everywhere later.
Yesterday half the day was good and the rest not. Little one loved the Life Centre at Newcastle especially the planetarium - she thought we were actually flying and amused the lady next to her when we 'landed' with 'phew granny we made it!'
However at lunchtime she said her tummy was sore and was very hot so after speaking to DD she got in the car to drive up and I walked up to the hospital with little one in her pushchair. DD met us and I went back to the station. Well something had happened not far away and to cut the story short I ended up getting home 3 hours later than I should have. Little one was xrayed and had a blocked bowel again, which was sorted with an enema - the doctor said it will probably keep happening but she'll hopefully grow out of it when she's 6. They were sent home and at about 9pm DD sent a photo of little one eating a happy meal in our local McDonalds, full of smiles. Although I'm very used to her being poorly, it really shook me up how she got so ill so quickly. I haven't had a very good sleep so will probably need a nap this afternoon.
Today will be a quiet one...hopefully!
It's taken me so long to write that I can't remember what everyone else has said! I'll just wish you all a good day x12 -
Hi everyone,
I haven't managed to post over the last few days, I've only just managed to read yesterday's posts.
We had an eventful journey down to Pembrokeshire. An hour from our destination the car went bang and lost power. Long story short, we were recovered to our cottage and had to wait till yesterday to get a hire car. Ours has just been taken to a garage so we will wait and see what is wrong, it's only about 6 weeks old so will be done under warranty but we're supposed to go home on Saturday so we don't know what will happen.
Sunday was a quiet day, we couldn't go anywhere because we didn't have transport. Yesterday we went to the Stackpole Inn which featured on the recent Hairy Bikers series and then to Barrafundle beach in the drizzle, which cleared when we were on the beach. Then Steve's nephew and his family arrived, sans Steve's sister who has covid. Esben fell asleep at 6.00 and slept until 7.00 which is unheard of.
Have a good day.12 -
I hope your ribs heal soon (just read back). Chris cracked his before Christmas, he was carrying Nate down the stairs and his feet went out from under him, he lifted Nate up and he didn't have a scratch but Chris then had no hands to save himself and landed heavily on the stair tread. He's only just stopped being in pain from it.12

They bounce back so quickly - unlike us oldies!Snoozer - yes, I expect to be aware of my ribs for about 4-6 weeks. They are healing as different movements than before now hurt. I'm more tired so am taking things much easier. Today I'll get my cleaner to move some things around for me upstairs. I've decided to change the new rug as I wasn't happy with it (black, not blue and the pattern makes my eyes go wonky!). The new new one is in my car boot so I'll ask her to take it upstairs and unwrap it for me. She has very little to do here so won't mind.Bella - I hope that you're reading along and getting better.11 -
Hello all, it's all grey skies here and no wind. I didn't sleep very well last night, my brain wouldn't shut down so I may need a nap later. I have no plans for today except to bring the bins in when they are emptied.
Take care all, enjoy your day if you can.

Morning! Horrible and grey and dull..I missed my sunny drying on the line spot on Sunday and it hasn't come back yet...I'm running out of pants so I could do a my sister, or Gers and buy some more
The man for the tyre has just turned up and is merrily doing stuff..phew! mobile before long again. Nothing planned for today, I cracked changing colour on the blanket last night so two rows done and not unpicked. The colours are nice, they go together quite well but they're really not vibrant enough for me so I forsee another blanket of eye popping brightness in the future. And maybe a more difficult pattern..Hark at me running before i walk! I do like the ones with the flowers on them though, maybe I can insert some...And the tyre guy is done, a repair instead of a new tyre, thirty quid, bosh! as my sister would say...
Bella, get well! camelot, uh oh, that sounds ominous, hope youre not having problems like before again. snoozer, that sounds like fun..not...I didn't realise Barafundle was actually a place, I only knew it as a Gorkys Zygotic Mynci album, shows what you can learn as you get older. I've always been rubbish at geography though..Ruby, hope someone finds your lady soon. Izzy, maybe ask your leader person about waking up starving, and what would be ok to eat to fill you up! No point in dieting only to be hungry all the time...TA, have a nice munch out..It's much easier to rock a short hair style when you're older, you just look more punkCoxy, he could have popped in for a cuppa
not that far from me...god luck this week with the horrible job parts. Gers, glad you're taking it easy! Don't be relapsing....nanny, this is a theme, hope all is ok..Right, I'm orf to do non excersisey things, take care all, shout out to the poorly, unwell, wee'd off or grumpy, or indeed, all of the above...
