Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, hope your day is a good one.
Still wet and windy out but not so breezy this morning. Very windy yesterday, the bins seem to have walked their way across the deck, I'll get them back later.
Work was good yesterday, by 10 it was as if I had never been off but oh so much to catch up on. The behaviour was awful from some children, seems the new HT's policies are not the way forward!
Anyway, hope everyone is well, take care. XX13 -
Morning folks.Another longer sleep for me, it's nice not waking at 5.30 every morning. Mind you, I'm back in bed with the blanket on for a few minutes.Today my cleaner is coming so I need to do a few minutes of putting away things. I'll go out when she's here and leave her to it. The day doesn't look too promising again, even the overnight high winds are still hanging around. For now I wish everyone a happy Tuesday.13

Morning everyone. Thanks nmlc for starting us off.
It's looking a bit grey here today. I'm meeting a friend and we are walking into town for a general look round the charity shops.
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday.12 -
Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x Hope work goes okay today.
I too have not so nice tasks atm - sending letters terminating contracts is no fun for me or the recipient.
DH is in Chippenham today and I'm WFH. I'm going to cook some American style SW pancakes for breakfast and dinner will be SW sweet and sour pork with noodles. Need to pop out for a red pepper and some sugar snap peas as didn't food shop at the weekend. I also have another Bay of E parcel to post.
Hope all the poorlies are doing okay and are on the mend.
Have a good day all

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. I hope today isn't as stressful as you are fearing.
I have been MIA for a couple of days. No reason, just not a lot worth mentioning!
DD is having a move around at home and has decided the downstairs computer room/study is now going to be a spare bedroom. Lots of now un-necessary built in desktops etc are getting removed and yesterday she wanted the computer desk that has been in my garage for about 15 years for her dining room! Needless to say in all that time it has gathered lots of dust and cobwebs. And lots of junk inside it. My lovely Bob was a hoarder and the garage is still awash with all the stuff "that might come in". The desk was no exception and most of the contents are now in the bin. One day I might get round to sorting through the rest of the clutter out there.
Today is Tuesday so it's my weekly date with BFF for coffees then lunch. Her hair is growing back nicely now after the chemo last year and last week she braved our meet up without her wig. Her hair is still white but is growing back curly whereas it was always dead straight. I am envious of the curls! Our other friend might join us just for lunch but this is, as usual, dependant on what sort of mood her OH is in.!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) as always for our poorlies, getting better and MIA. Take care all and stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
P.S.
Topsy - how are things with your DS? I hope he's on the mend and that you're made your complaint.

Good morning, I slept late this morning, well, late for me.
The weather seems ok so far, grey but dry. I did a long post yesterday then lost it. I couldn't face doing it all again straightaway and meant to come back on later in the day, but forgot. It was nothing earth shattering anyway.
Meeting a friend this morning and the dgs is coming for the afternoon. Tomorrow they are going to their cottage for the rest of the week.
Hope everyone has a good day, thinking of our poorlies.
Take care folks.14 -
Morning all
Cold here and very foggy feels quite damp ! Two ladies coming today so I will see what they want to do, there is always baking and a walk if the weather picks up a bit.
Salmon for dinner with new potatoes and some green beans and asparagus will get the veg ready this morning.
WM is on but it will have to go on the airer as too damp outside.
Still no news on our local missing woman, loads of people out looking for her but no sightings yet and it’s now been a week since she went, she left her house as if going for a walk but never returned, she is having cancer treatment so her family are worried sick.
Have good days all and take care xx13 -
Morning all, it was quite nice but a big cloud is making it's way over now. I got out for a walk yesterday then DH arrived back for us to get DGS ready for footie training. His Mum was still at work, DStepdad looked a bit bemused when he opened the door as no-one had told him I was coming, but DGS was ready in his kit upstairs as DS had messaged him
. He's a good lad & is helpful with their younger 2. DGD is back from her Nannas caravan, & enjoyed the break.
DS nipped to Al di before we got there, and was complaining it seemed dear and they had no eggs so I've added some on to my order for tomorrow. It was the leftover curry for us last night. I know DS1 wants sausages tonight so just need something for DH and myself. Got some cooked shredded beef in the freezer, so I can decide what to do later.Hope you all have a good day.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
