Car Parking Fine from Aldi Corporation Street Preston (Ocean Parking)

Disclaimer : I don't do forums so not really sure how all this works so please be kind...

I got a car parking fine from Ocean parking which stated I 'Abused patron Parking' this was issued at 15.57pm

I went into Aldi and have a receipt for my shopping at 16.13pm. I was parked for well under an hour and the parking time is 2 hours.

Has anyone ever had this and what did they do? I have read conflicting advice so I wanted to check before I start the appeal.
Thanks
Jacqui

Hi, it's private land so nothing to do with Aldi :(
  • Hi, It was a couple of days ago. If you have a contact that would be great.

    What  makes you think
These are so easy to beat at POPLA. Ive never lost these type of appeals at second stage either at the IAS or POPLA

Complain to land owner and at same time log an appeal to ocean denying leaving site and simply telling them you will win at POPLA because you know how to beat parking firms on "left site cases"

    How strange.
Your thread title and opening post gave me the impression it was a car park serving an Aldi store.

Supermarket car parks are 'private land' by definition and this has everything to do with Aldi.

Either Aldi themselves, or the retail park managing agents, or BOTH, have the power to cancel a PCN for a genuine customer when you complain.  Easiest way to cancel one!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
