That's correct - though FSCS doesn't cover crypto, so not very relevant. Once you have bought crypto, you are on your own.

I was referring to the funds in the bank account before you bought the crypto - but yes, after buying crypto you are on your own as far as FSCS concerned

I first of all would stop using Coinbase as they are robbers with their extortionate fees. Maybe have a look here if you want to trade like a Pro
