Selling On Viagogo - HELP

Hi, I purchased tickets for a concert taking place later this year for my daughter and shortly after purchasing realised she cant make it, in a bit of a panic we listed them on viagogo for face value and within a couple of days I received an email to say they had been purchased which I confirmed. In now turns out that the money will not be received until after the event in case the buyer cant get into the venue, but as these are genuine tickets what is stopping the buyer from claiming they didn't get in when they actually did? I have read so many bad stories about Viagogo which is really worrying me, so looking for some advice from anyone who had had experience selling tickets. I have tried contacting the buyer twice now to establish communication out of courtesy but had no reply which makes me more suspicious. I understand if cancel viagogo T&Cs state I will have to pay the full price of the tickets but cancelling all my payment methods/bank details prevent this from happening?
Appreciate any advice?

Unfortunately this is one of those moments where hindsight is a wonderful thing
A lot's going to depend on what the concert is, it's venue and the risk of entry refusal. Unfortunately ViaGogo has it's faor share of scammers and seems an easy target for venue to do a blanket refusal for their ticket holders and, given their non-UK location you're likely to struggle with any action against them.
I'm sure there are plenty who've successfully used it and you can only hope at this stage that you're one of them.
If you search the boards there's plenty on ViaGogo - unfortunately not much of it positive but there may be a nugget tucked away in there that helps you in your particular case0 -
I'm afraid that when you engage in ticket touting, this is the situation you can end up in. I wouldn't start cancelling cards because if you owe the money, you owe the money and they can still pursue you.
I'd sit tight and hope all turns out well. Taking things into your own hands by breaching the terms you agreed to isn't going to make the situation any better.1 -

Its not ticket touting but you would have been better listing on a more ethical site like Twickets as opposed to Viaggo
No matter what site you list them on you won't get paid until after the concert has happened. It is annoying but you could be selling the same e ticket to multiple different people. Or you could cancel a paper ticket and ask for it to be reissued before the concert.1 -
