Could you ask them to do as they did for your transfer? Ultimately it would be cheaper to have everything with iWeb.

I was given no choice to not sell to cash.
It had been done before I could do anything.
Also they sent a cheque!! Really.
DH doesn't want to be out the market.
The end goal is still to end up at iWeb, but we just want to get his all back to Fidelity first and then go from there once the dust has settled.
Obviously (now) we need to do any fund switches ourselves internally first. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0 -
Finally, a letter from iWeb saying they have received a transfer out to Fidelity request.
So hopefully the end of this saga is in sight.
We still need to decide what to do next, once the dust settles. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0 -
Checked on line.
All sorted and back with Fidelity.
What a palaver. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)2 -
To be honest these types of stories put me off switching, unless the incentive is really significant, with a big cashback for example. I did not retire to get more hassle !Sea_Shell said:Checked on line.

Well the incentive was saving over £700 a year in fees!! 😉
More if the fund values increase.
We've saved half by moving mine. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0 -
Just to sign off this thread...
DH complained, they upheld his complaint, and have made a goodwill compensation payment. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)1
