Hi all
I have noticed on my statement it doesn't show when my 0.percent deal ends. I have had it shown on my Lloyds and Barclaycard statements and was great to keep track I can pay things back in time..
I went on the chat for m and s and they said we will write closer to the time. But I did ask for it again so that I can keep track of will be paid off in time and it will.
Do credit cards legally have show when a deal ends date on statements or not?
I am thinking the reason why they don't show it because they will write closer to the time and people won't have enough time to pay it all off and they gain interest.
Thank you

I don't know what the legal requirements are but your statement should state the estimated interest for each month.
Mine shows this:Estimated Interest Amount £0.00 (Please see over for explanation).
That doesn't tell you when the 0% deal expires but will at least give you notice of when interest kicks in.
If you have the same deal as me, the interest free period is two years from the date you took out the card.
I took one out in August last year so I will pay it off in full at the end of July 2024 to avoid paying interest.
Your deal may have been different.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".0 -

Just keep your own records, you know when you took out the card and know how long the offer was for, work out the probable end date and go back one month to be safe then work with this date as the end of the offer.0
