•    Competition opened at 12.00 (midday) on 15.02.2023

•    Competition closes at 12:00 (midday) on 11.05.2023 and 3 working days later for postal entries.

1) The prize is for four people and comprises:

a) An allowance of £50 per person (£200 total) towards UK travel costs made payable to the winner in the form of a BACS transfer;

b) Three (3) nights’ accommodation at Forest Holidays Cropton, based on the prize winner and their companions sharing a 2-bedroom cabin on a self-catering basis (subject to availability);

c) Welcome hamper of locally sourced produce; and

d) One-day bike hire;

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.

3) The prize must be taken and completed within 12 months of the congratulations email from Element being sent. The trip cannot be taken over Christmas & New Year (19 December 2023 to 4 January 2024), Easter weekend (7 April 2023 to 10 April 2023) or during UK Bank Holidays (1 May 2023, 8 May 2023, 29 May 2023, 28 August 2023). The prize and its components are subject to availability.

4) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, they must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the hotel. Please note that either the prize winner or their companions will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the accommodation for security deposit purposes.

5) The prize excludes transfers between the winner’s home and the train station/airport, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize. 

6) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

7) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability. Neither Channel 5 nor Element will accept responsibility for the accommodation or any facilities being unavailable, withdrawn or amended.

8) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.

9) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

10) An allowance towards UK travel costs will be provided to the winner only. The allowance is calculated at a set maximum of £50 per guest and will be made payable to the winner at the time of accommodation booking by the prize provider as a BACS transfer. Their travel allowance will be paid to the winner up to a maximum of 4 guests/£200. Neither Channel 5 nor the prize provider are responsible for organising travel arrangements for this prize, it will be the prize winner’s responsibility to organise this appropriately throughout their stay unless otherwise stated.
