Transunion Credit Report Incorrect Details

Hi,

We are applying for a new mortgage through our current provider and the initial application was rejected & disputed due information on my wifes credit report.

We ran credit reports through experian which didn't show any issues, but when we ran the free Transunion credit report it had all her her twin sisters credit history on her credit report.

Do we have the right claim any compensation from Transunion or our current mortgage advisor?

Cheers

Steve

  • Did you not check your credit reports prior to applying?

Have you asked Transunion to remove it?

Why would you be due compensation from the mortgage company?

  • You need to raise a error with TransUnion and they still put a notice of correction on the account.
You are not due any compensation. It's not the mortgage companies fault that this has happened.
