Hi
The above folder contains a file or folder, i'm not too sure but I believe it's a file.
I can't see my file and IE explorer does not allow me to have favorites and come up with a error. I have tried many things and decided that I was just going to start again.
I have just tried to create a folder called favorites and have been advised that i can't as a folder with that name already exists. SO I can't see this corrupted file/folder nor can I delete it. I have made sure that hidden files are allowed and I am 99% sure this is not a hidden file folder in any case.
Any advise?

Favorites is a folder, the folder usually has a yellow star as its icon.
You could try naming the new folder Favourites
Also you could try a search for favorites0 -
can you see it when logged in as administrator (try safe mode).
if not, try start, run, chkdsk c: /F/R
and reboot.
if still not, then the file ownership/permissions may be messed up, which you can resolve by right click, propertiesEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
