Cash withdrawal Barclays/Post Office

Stupid question maybe, I've seen two values online £250 and £300.
I need to withdraw £600 next week with my Barclays debit card from the post office. Just trying to work out how many times I need to go and not get my card declined or look silly? Can't seem to find the amount on my online account.

TY

Do you have the app on your phone? You can increase to max of £500 for ATM withdrawals there. I honestly can't remember if the PO is a separate limit to ATMs or not but worst case scenario you could do it over 2 days or if its a separate limit perhaps all even in 1 go at the counter.

No, I don't have the app just use the only banking. So rarely use cash I've lost track of all the limits

  • Their daily cash withdrawal limit applies to ATMs and the Post Office counter.
You can bypass this by using their internal banking machines (more functional than ATMs) or an actual human cashier.

Can’t answer your question but can suggest alternative.
Assuming you have another current account, which everyone should have😉, you could xfer part of the £600 to that, then use both debit cards to withdraw it all   in one visit.

Unfortunately Barclays keep closing all our local branches so not an option

I do have a second current account but no card, so handy reminder to get one! But I can transfer to my other half or daughter to withdraw
