Advice please

Hi
i am looking for an easy access account with the following criteria
allows joint accounts
good rate of interest
Easy to make deposits
unlimited withdrawals without penalty

I don’t need it to work as a current account

i came across Shawbook ea issue 33 which seems to be a good match,

Does anybody have any dealings with this bank or alternatives to look at.

Also with a joint account the protection is doubled to 170k

Meets all of your requirements, and is also currently the best offering of all the easy access accounts. I’ve used them for a while and haven’t had any problems.

We have Shawcroft as a joint account.  The only downside I can see is that deposits and withdrawals aren't quite instant.

Any issues with their "authenticator app"? I get nervous when something needs special non-standard software, for example you'd be goosed if a new version of the app wasn't supported on your phone (I had that with Lloyds once, but of course Lloyds works without the app)

Nearly all easy access accounts meet your criteria. I would avoid Monmouthshire BS and the Post Office though.

AS time moves on you are going to have issues with a mobile as security updates stop being sent after a number of years
Also the apps require newer version of operating systems

Thank for the comments, it looks like they will show the next day to your nominated bank and there is a £500 minimum trf out.

Thank I will look into this.
For tax on interest purposes does the bonus count as interest?
