I joined it but it can't connect to my smart meter. To be fair though, neither can Eon themselves so far.1

Like Zaul22 - failed to connect to my Scottish Power smart meter. Took me ages to find the code on the IHD as well as it was cleverly concealed behind the unremovable stand ...Debt Free Wannabe by 1 December 2027

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.0 -
Signed up but so far totally unimpressed.
As said above finding correct data to link to IHD/Meter not so easy though, in part, that is due to ‘Settings’ on IHD meter not actually showing full and correct MAC code. On my IHD you have to remove battery cover to read correct data. Even then it took five attempts before USWITCH app accepted the information. It has now been over 72 hours and still no data showing even though both utility company and the IHD itself are both be getting accurate information. I suspect that by the time it gets sorted the current rebate scheme will have ended!
I am not particularly bothered about the potential rebate it was more to do with getting more accurate data on time of day usage. However, as I can download this information from Glowmarkt I will probably ditch USWITCH though I have yet to find anywhere where it says that closing my account actually stops data still being available to them! I’m sure it is somewhere in T’s & C’s; at least I hope it is!As USWITCH are giving the full rebate then there must still be something in it for them! I suspect that this is being able to access yet more information about households. It is said that there is a limit to everything. This cannot be true as everything has no limit!0
