Am getting paranoid now! Ive been fine up until today! our 7 month old lab is going to stay with my mum in law from this evening until sunday evening as we are going to visit my parents and couldnt take him as our car isnt big enough! ....
He loves being at the mum in laws as hes spoilt and she has had a dog before so knows what shes doing! im just feeling the whole guilt thing! ...

Yes, definitely, one of my dogs has had to be re-homed with my MIL because my two fight, but when I, my OH or my daughter go round she goes absolutely made to see us.We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0

Even our parrot remembers us when we come back from holiday, goes nuts when we walk in the room the first time. Although were taking him for our christmas holiday! Should be entertaining!!Green and White Barmy Army!0 -
he will definatly remember you and you will get a fab welcome home:rolleyes: Democracy is a process by which the people are free to choose the man who will get the blame.:j0

If he's anything like our eldest dog, he'll definitely remember you and it will be happiness all round! Then he'll remember himself and he'll turn his back on you and sulk for a while to remind you that you "abandoned" him!!

We've only ever left our dog for one week, in September this year for a friends' wedding in Italy. We left her with my Mum & Dad (I'd never leave her in kennels) and although I know she was treated exactly the same (even sleeping in bed with them!), she was beside herself when we got back. Of course, Megan remembered her original owner after not seeing him for over 6 years, yes he got 'bounced' :rotfl: she went absolutely crackers. One day I might be more organised...........
