Motor Traders Insurance

Can anyone suggest any insurers that do motor trader policies?
We are currently with Tradex.
Hubby is a commercial vehicle repairer, they bend em, he mends em. He does not have his own premises. He works from his transit van using his customers workshops. He needs vehicle insurance that covers his tools and equipment and also liability insurance upto £5,000,000.
We are not happy with Tradex. Just got a renewal notice and they are packing it with extra clauses, some of which are impossible to meet.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I'd find a broker: maybe this thread will help.
Also see if anyone over in The Back Room of Honest John can advise - you'll need to register to ask a question.
Or maybe Vansboy will be along to make other helpful suggestions!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Hi - agree that Tradex are the pits.Try bollington.com or roadrunner insurance both of whom deal very largely in motor trade insurance.Alternatively buy an autotrader and ring the various advertisers there.
