Good morning
I have just received the latest charity bag through the door to find they only want clothing, shoes, cosmetics and jewellery. I am currently in the stages of decluttering and have a couple of boxes of books in good condition.
Anyone know which charity will take them?
Thanks

Do you have an Oxfam bookshop near you? Or Google charity bookshop near you and see what comes up. I know we also have a BHF bookshop nearby.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Many or maybe most high street charity shops have a book section and some have dedicated book shops Savvy_Sue suggests. Much better to take your books to one of those.2 -
Be warned though that many CSs won’t take books anymore as they struggle to sell them. Many of my local shops have ‘no books no DVDs no CDs please’ cards in their windows.
Many years ago, probably up to around 2015 I sold books as a side line and I had an agreement with a large CS to buy their books at 5p a book if I chose them, or 2p a book unsorted and they had an entire back room filled with bags and sacks and even boxes of books stacked floor to ceiling.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Perhaps try your local public library. I know our's accepts books (mainly non fiction) if in good condition.0

The charity shops by me still accept books. Always worth asking. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
