When you export from flux, when do you get paid for the electricity to grid?
Did you get the Octopus Watch App, it's pretty nifty?

You can submit an export meter reading and Octopus should issue the credit to your account and a 'bill'.

I had the same issue with my first payment the other day. I gave them a nudge on Twitter and got it the same day. Future payments should be with the bill.

Think it took 3-4 months before Octopus managed to get import, export and gas all on one bill. I did keep doing meter reads on 1st of each month, as that's when I'd said I wanted my bills and they'd issue one then, and another on 21st as well.

I've now given up on 1st and decided 21st will do fine :/

Why don’t supply companies realise that us statistic obsessives need our bills to align with month end?

octopus charge me  from 1 st to 30 /31 st every month by default, though the bill comes on the 5 th but as i pay by direct debit it doesnt really matter but most monthly pay is on third week of month

Mine is 6 to 5, never one whole month, always crosses two months. I suppose with so many customers it easier on resources to spread the billing periods out.

I can still see full monthly stats on the Octopus app and Octopus Watch/Bright so when the bill is dated will have to do. The neat freak in me twitches a bit now and then, so I tell it to chill.

Mine were at month end (emailed a couple of days after) but for no apparent reason changed. It more or less coincided with a change of tariff - but new billing date wasn't exactly in line with tariff date.  It took several months to get it back to month end billing (in spite of several emails claiming that had been done !).  I'm just changing tariff again and dreading that it will all happen again !
