Do I have to inform my employer of my new card details of the current account switch?

I took action to perform the switch last Tuesday where is states it takes 10 days
I had a letter from Lloyds confirming the switch however no incentive stated
I do notice my DD are now listed in the Lloyds payments standing orders from Halifax and the balance has transferred over
Still no £200
However do I need to inform my employer of my new card details or will the switch service have done it?

Your employer pays you via bank transfer not via Direct Debit so you need to let them know otherwise they will try and pay the old account.Greg89 said:I took action to perform the switch last Tuesday where is states it takes 10 days

It's best to tell them, but if you don't then the first payment will initially go the the old account and will be automatically forwarded to the new account, usually pretty much instantly. I believe that CASS will advise your employer that the switch has taken place, but they can't force them to update the details in their system. The forwarding will continue for at least 3 years if no update is done. Card details are irrelevant to your employer.

Payments to the old account will go to the new account if the CASS switching service was used.MattMattMattUK said:

So there's no need to tell the employer, though it is reassuring to do so.
(Greg wasn't suggesting, as far as I can see, that his employer paid him by DD!)0 -
I have updated my card details on the system.
However the DD are switched and showing on my Lloyds.
However I haven't received the incentive since making the switch last Tuesday!0 -

The Lloyds switching offer terms clearly state that "The offer will be paid directly into your account within 10 working days of you starting your switch", i.e. two weeks, so if you started the process last Tuesday you should receive the money next week. If the switch actually completed a week ago then that would be a different situation, but I wouldn't have thought you'd be asking your questions about the process if it all happened at least a week ago....Greg89 said:However I haven't received the incentive since making the switch last Tuesday!0 -

It's been 7 days or 8 if you count Saturday as a working day.
However I was told I cannot if I upgraded from Lloyds basic to silver then switched from Halifax to Lloyds silver. So I already has a Lloyds account.
However there is another person who did the same and obtained it.
