Entrants and their partner must be engaged to be married or to enter into a civil partnership at the time of entry.
Entrants and their partner must not be married or in a civil partnership at the time of entry or at any time prior to the announcement of the winner.
Entrants must also have their partners permission before entering.
Friends, family and other third parties may not enter on behalf of an engaged couple.


The winner and their partner will receive a wedding reception for up to 60 guests with an approximate value of £15,000 to be taken between 01 June 2023 and 31 August 2023 (subject to the availability and at the discretion of the Prize Provider) at Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire.

The Prize includes the following:
o   exclusive venue hire fee;
o   The Lodge the night before your wedding for the bridal party (sleeps six (6));
o   arrival drink or Prosecco or house bottled beer per guest;
o   three course Supreme wedding breakfast per guest;
o   half bottle of house wine during the wedding breakfast per guest;
o   toast drink of Prosecco per guest;
o   evening food of bacon & sausage baps;
o   Range Rover wedding car to transport the bridal party from The Lodge to Eaves Hall;
o   fresh flowers for the top table;
o   mirror plates with candelabras for your table centers;
o   white table linen and napkins;
o   a cheese wedding cake from Bowland Food Hall;
o   chair sashes in your chosen colour;
o   DJ; and
o   honeymoon suite on the night of your wedding.

The Prize is provided by James’ Places (Northwest) Limited (the “Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the Prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.
The Prize excludes any arrangements or costs for civil, or other ceremonies themselves, including organising for a registrar or other officiant to conduct the wedding, and these must be arranged and paid for directly by the winner and / or their partner, including making arrangements as required with the local registrar’s office within the required timeframe prior to the wedding.
Unless expressly stated as included in the Prize, anything else will not form part of the Prize.
It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any special requirements or adjustments which need to be made for any person attending the event, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines issued by the Prize Provider and / or venue.
Any of the Prize Provider’s own applicable terms and conditions will also apply to this Prize. Please check with the venue and / or Prize Provider as appropriate to check their own terms and conditions, rules and policies which shall apply.
The wedding reception must take place between 01 June 2023 and 31 August 2023 (subject to the availability and at the discretion of the Prize Provider) at Eaves Hall in Clitheroe, Lancashire. All remaining available dates will be shared with the winning couple. No alternative venue will be offered. Eaves Hall is licenced to hold civil ceremonies.
The winner and / or their partner should arrange the ceremony directly with the registry office. The cost of the register and wedding certificates is not included in the Prize and will need to be paid for by the winner.
The wedding value is based on all supplier’s standard rates and based on peak rates where applicable.
In consideration of winning the Competition, the winner and their partner agree to the use of their names, location and photography and videography both in the lead up to the wedding and on the wedding day for online and offline publicity by the Prize Provider.
Additional day guests will be charged at £125 each.
Additional evening only guests will be charged at £17.50 each.
Additional children will be charged at £35 which includes a soft drink on arrival, a three course children’s meal and a soft drink during the wedding toast.
Accommodation for your guests is not included in the Prize. The honeymoon suite will be included for the winner and their partner on the night of the wedding. 30 bedrooms are available for your guests to stay the night on your wedding day. Rooms start from £115 per night for a standard double.
All the items included in the Prize that will be provided by third party suppliers shall be chosen by the Prize Provider as per their recommended and partner supplier list.
The Range Rover provided for the wedding car can only be used to transport the bridal party from The Lodge to Eaves Hall on the morning of the wedding. The car cannot be used for any other journeys.
Any additional requirements not included within the Prize stated above must be organised and paid for by the winner or their partner.
The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash or other alternative will be offered.
