Without knowing the exact circumstances, it is difficult to say.Al_Ross said:A workmate was telling me that he recently moved address and was due quite a bit of money back from EDF as he was well in credit. They paid him some of this back but kept some of it and said it was the goverments money. Is this normal ?
I can see a situation where the transfer of supply goes through on, say, the 31st January. On the 1st February, the supplier’s system adds £67 to his account. When the Final Bill was raised a few days later the £67 would be deducted as it should only be paid to consumers that are on supply on the 1st. The new supplier should addback the missing £67 due on the 1st February to his first bill.0 -
I was wondering that myself.
