Carpetright refund delay

Update:  full refund has been received.

Following a store quote, an agent from Carpetright came to measure our room on 27 November and we proceeded to purchase carpet via credit card for over £800; with delivery/fitting due on 10th December 2022.  The store phoned to advise the carpet was delayed and we could have installation on 19th December.
Prior to then, another call from store as further delay to 16th January 2023.  We were phoned again advising delays were with European manufacturer and no date for delivery/installation could be given.  Store offered us option of refund on 16th January.

    Not the same scenario at all but...  we had a partial refund from CarpetRight in Jan 2023 which we possibly speeded up by going into the shop we'd ordered from & talking to the salesman who'd taken our order.  And then calling the shop direct (no contact with head office) to chase.  Can you do either of these things?

    Hi, thanks, yes we keep bombarding the store with visits and calls but they say they have done all they can.  

    Unfortunately, we wasn’t aware that by paying via the guy who came to measure up, our “contract” seems to have moved from store to the head office! 🤷‍♀️
