Cancellation insurance for a course booking

I have booked on to a week's craft course in the Summer, in the UK whose costs include course fees and accommodation. Total cost approx £1000. The organisers recommend taking out insurance in case I need to cancel but I'm unable to find a policy. My travel insurance will cover the acommodation but not the course fees.

Any suggestions?

I have the same question for a Cookery Course.   Sainsbury's insurance won't cover it as it's not part of a holiday as I won't be needing accommodation.

Look at a different insurer? Certainly some do cover prebooked activities

Something may exist from a niche insurer but you'll probably struggle to find it as searches are likely to be dominated by people selling insurance to event organisers. Maybe look at who covers tickets with ticket Master etc and see if the insurer does something direct but its likely to be a scheme so not available for general purchase
