Our gate post needs re rendering. So far we have had three quotes of £80, £150 and £450! How is there such a difference in the prices?I’ve no idea how much rendering costs but this has got me stumped!

I would say £150 but a simple job like that you could do it yourself,
Nail the angle beads on the corners, treat with pva and you can't go wrong1 -
Our local handy men charge £160 ish a day.
Thats no materials included
Removing the render, disposal, cleaning etc, re rendering, purchase of materials and time taken to do so.
£80 wouldn't cover it. More a paint job
£150 maybe
£450? I'd ask what they intended to do but sounds like they don't want the job.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
