GoPro motorbike mount - mirror or helmet
I’ve recently got an MT07 motorbike and would like to fit my GoPro on it to act as a dashcam. Due to the lack of space on the handlebars I was thinking of putting it on the mirror. Can anyone recommend a mount for this. All the ones I’ve seen the jaws will be too wide for the mirror. If this is not a good option then is there a mount I could put on my flip front helmet. Thanks for any advise.

If you fit it to your helmet it'll give you smoother footage and record whatever you are looking at, which is going to be a lot better than mounting it to the bike where it can only really look forward.1

Nice bike. My wife has one. There is sufficient space on the handlebars to fit a Ram Mount.1

SP Connect or Quadlock might have something to suit. I've used both SP Connect and Ram mounts, and find the SP Connect range much sleeker than the rather clunky Ram mounts1

I'm maybe old-school (and been to enough RTA's to feel qualified to comment) but I'd never be attaching to a helmet. For a cyclist I'd advocate but not a motorcyclist at the higher speeds etcHerzlos said:If you fit it to your helmet it'll give you smoother footage and record whatever you are looking at, which is going to be a lot better than mounting it to the bike where it can only really look forward.
Helmets companies spend millions creating them so they protect and (if necessary) slide on the road without grabbing/catching and rotating the head/neck. Anything attached to the outside reduces this effectiveness and risks additional injury (albeit with a nice video of the potential cause and the end result)
Personally I'd be bike mounted or via body harness
p.s. enjoy the bike - they're great
p.p.s have a look at motovixenn on instagram - she runs an MT-07 and has used various camera setups
