    Hi OP

Have you rang the dealership and if not please do as they will give you a puka respsponse

FYI, Mercedes allows 30 days from last service and I think 1k miles whichever comes sooner.
As I hardly drive the car other than about 7/8 short 5 miles trips return and a cuople of less than a mile , I get mine serviced towards the end of the 13th month

    But do call the dealer

    Thnaks

For anyone reading this it's a really bad idea. If anything it should be serviced more often driven like that.

@diystarter7 you do realise this is a money saving site? Can't even be bothered to work out how much a mile your Mercedes actually costs you.

42 miles a year?! So the insurance alone is likely to be £10 per mile. You could have a chauffered limo for much less than that.

Original 3 year warranty will probably be lost, but have it serviced at Toyota and you will get 12 months Relax warranty.

A family member has just bought a 2015 Aygo which has a 12 month Toyota warranty.  From our ownership of a first gen Aygo its worth having if they still use Peugeot/Citroen electrics as every fault we had was electrical.

Boot lock, fan motor resistor, window switch and windscreen wiper control unit all failed and were fixed under warranty.

  • Just out of curiosity , how does service interval rules work when the car is up for sale on a dealer forecourt and the service interval is due?  E.g. 2 year old car part exchanged just prior to a due service and take 2 months to sell.

I’m pretty sure a dealer won’t take the car off sale to service, so when the car is sold is the warranty stil valid?
  • They will usually just service it when they agree to sell the car.
  • "Eligible vehicles range from cars just completing the period of their new vehicle warranty, to high-mileage models that have passed through multiple ownerships and have no prior Toyota service history."

I'd say the Relax Warranty is activated when you have the appropriate service completed, even with a missing service history.
