Set up Ford yesterday at about 2ish and money showed up in the account after a couple of hours, set up the Aldermore one a little later, just after 3 and money has still not shown up in the account as of the next morning. It says on the Aldermore website that deposits can take a couple of days to show up but we are naturally a little apprehensive given how quickly the Ford deposit took.
Should we be worried or is it likely to be fine - its is a large deposit that we couldn't afford to lose so will be nervous until it shows up!Mortgage free!
Debt free!
And now I am retired - all the time in the world!!0 -

When we did the transfers we checked and triple-checked all the details backwards and forwards so there is hopefully no chance of any mistakes but will still not be comfortable until we see the balance go up! We did it via nationwide app and it does a check to make sure the details we have put in match and there were no problems there.
Hopefully it will show up today, not sure my OH would be able to cope with a weekend of not knowing!Mortgage free!

The suspense was killing us so gave them a ring - fortunately managed to get through to someone straightaway who said they could find no sign of the deposit but would look into it for us! Couple of hours later said they still couldn't find it but not to worry as if something was not correct it would be sent straight back to Nationwide and a common mistake with new deposits was someone using their Customer ID number instead of the account number (at that point we thought they were one and the same and the customer id was what we had used).
In short - checked Nationwide, money had indeed gone back in, sent a small amount to Aldermore as a test using the correct Account No. , it showed up in a couple of hours, sent the rest in the early evening and that showed up in the account the next morning (Saturday).
So, panic over, a simple mistake we had made but no harm done and very impressed with their Customer Service!Mortgage free!
