Ebay click and collect addresses and Evri

I ordered an item a few days ago where the seller stated it would be sent with Royal Mail. I decided a click and collect option would be more convenient, but the seller then sent the item with Evri. I looked at the tracking today and it has been marked as "return to sender". Does anyone know if this is a result of click and collect addresses being Royal Mail only or do Evri also deliver to these addresses?

  • Anyone have any ideas on this? I've now opened a case with ebay, but the Evri tracking was strange. It kept showing the item as "label reprinted" then "out for delivery" then "return to sender". This continued for 7 days.

I am guessing Evri just don't do ECP codes or deliver to click and collect addresses but my Google searches are inconclusive.

I ordered with Ricer Islands eBay outlet for delivery to Argos click and collect. They used Evri and it worked fine.

Might be that the seller you used didn’t put the eCP code on the address.
