Sole trader invoices

Can anyone tell me what needs to be on these? The government website lists what is required on an invoice. But for sole traders it also says you must include your name, and an address. But it doesn't explain anything in detail beyond that.
Where does your name need to be? At the top of the invoice above or below your business name, with your address, contact details etc? Or can it be anywhere as long as it is present and clear to the customer? Is it your full name or just first and surname?

As long as its present and clear its fine... most put the trading name/logo in the top left corner and then at the bottom of the invoice clarify the legal entity part eg: Bob Smith t/a BHapiy123
The need is to identify the legal entity and so for most of us first and surname is sufficient but were you to live with your brother of the same name or such then add middle name or whatever it is that distinguishes you0 -

Would it be easier if you machine did the monthly invoices for you? So you just download them and send them to your accountant?
