6th form - mandatory attendance vs driving lessons

A quick search in my area throws up a longish list. Most seem to close at 8pm, with some working until 9pm. Given that most are self employed, i would think many will 'make hay whilst the sun shines'.goater78 said:

Not everybody can take time off during the week ( teachers e'g;) so would be restricted to holidays5 -
I wonder if the time of year comes into it? I know that as a driver you need to know how to drive in the dark, but it's not the most ideal circumstance for someone who is very new to it. Do the instructors work later in the summer months?
