Decent JOINT savings account?

Can anyone recommend a decent savings account that allows joint account holders? Some of the recommendations on the Savings accounts page don't make it clear if joint accounts are allowed. E.g. the page lists Furness BS and Allica Bank, but when I click through to those bank pages they don't mention if joint accounts are allowed.
(I'm no expert with accounts etc but it seems odd that they wouldn't state this simple fact about the account - or maybe since they don't mention that joint accounts are not allowed then that means they are allowed...who knows!)
If anyone has a recommendation for a decent joint savings account pls let me know. Thx.

You could always ring them and ask.kitchensinq said:Bank, but when I click through to those bank pages they don't mention if joint accounts are allowed.0 -
Compare The Best UK Savings Accounts | moneyfacts.co.uk
If you click on the type of account you are looking for ( easy access, fixed rate etc) . Then click on 'Full Search' in top right hand side of the screen.
You then get various search options, including specifying Joint accounts.0 -

I could and I might, but my question is not specifically about them but about any joint accounts that readers have had success with and like.

Yorkshire Building society we have found them very good since opening last year was easy to open online and contact if needed.

It’s only 5.12% up to £5k but the Barclays Rainy Day Saver can be joint.
Also like Charter Savings as all of their accounts allow joint applications.0 -
So do Coventry BS

I think Shawbrook and Paragon do joint easy access accounts over 3%.1

Looks like you need to be Barclays Blue Rewards customer for this.

Most of the traditional banks offer joint accounts. Its mainly the app based accounts that don't.kitchensinq said:Can anyone recommend a decent savings account that allows joint account holders? Paragon allows joint accounts. I opened one quite easily. So far no complaints.
Shawbrook also allows joint but I found their account opening process really infuriating.
Sainsbury's Bank allows joint accounts but you have to open a new one every time the rate increases (assuming you want to get the higher rate). I've done it twice so far and on both occasions my husband lost access to the new account.

If it happens a third time your husband might think your conspiring with Sainsbury's Bank lol!sibby_cash said:I've done it twice so far and on both occasions my husband lost access to the new account.
