SmartSave seem dodgy

I signed up at the end of January, immediately went to sign in and got an error that my details were wrong, that's despite me using Bitwarden to create and save my passwords, so I used the "forgotten password" link to reset my password (and have tried several times since on the instruction of their customer services) but my new passwords aren't accepted either. Their customer service has also told me that I must not have registered despite me saying that when I try and register again, I get an error that I already have an account. Now I know that I have provided this business with my personal details and I no longer trust them to keep them safe since they can't or won't solve my simple problem

Never used them personally but can find nothing to suggest they are not legit. If you call customer service they should surely be able to confirm if you do or dont have an account? If your trust is already shaky based on experience so far then walk away.0

If you're comfortable with app-only banking, I would recommend Atom instead - they're only fractionally less than SmartSave for a 1 year fixed rate account at the moment and I've had no problems at all with Atom in the few years I've been a customer.0
