Do Natwest accept balance transfers from Amex?

Can anyone advise on whether Natwest will allow a balance transfer from an Amex card. 

I've tried and failed to get an answer from them on twitter (utterly useless 'help' account!), I can't call them without a credit card number and the chat bot doesn't understand my question!!! 
I don't want to go through the process of applying if it's going yo be a waste of time.

I haven't done one personally but the Natwest app does seem to accept and recognise a Amex card number.

I have recently done a balance transfer from my Amex to a RBS card, so I can’t see why it would be an issue to a NatWest card being part of the same banking group.

@mab3000  how recent was that? I tried in August 2022 to do the same to my RBS cards and did not work ..  officially the app and online form accept and recognise the Amex number but after going pending for a while, it never lands.. after weeks and weeks of chasing, finally they told me that do not actually support transfers to Amex… I made a complaint as they made me waste weeks of my time and the system looked to accept it, and the person that finally got back to me suggested that it read an internal note that confirmed it was not working but it would be look at in the future.

It was in December 22. Did it in the app. Went through with no issues at all

Good news, I finally got through to Natwest customer services and a very helpful lady who confirmed they do accept Amex transfers!!! Hurrah!!
