BMW approved used car warranty

May 2022 I purchased a BMW 330d from Stratstone BMW.
I put a £100 deposit online, as it is an approved used car with approx 34000 miles and 1 previous owner I felt confident in that.
I was called by the dealer, made an appointment to talk to the dealer & see the car. I was not offered a look inside the car or a test drive. But it looked and was obviously good as it is an approved used car, so I purchased it.
A few days later, on the hand over the dealer was complaining about a problematic door at the newly refurbished dealership, he stayed in the showroom, handed me the keys, paperwork and the complimentary car cleaning kit and that was that.
A few weeks passed and I noticed there was a service due light on the dashboard.
I called Stratstone to book the car in, I was told that the car needed a service and they had forgotten to do it prior to me collecting the car, so there would be no charge to me.
I collected the car after the service, my son was with me and he noticed that there was no service on the idrive previous to the one just completed, at 42,000 miles
He said it was probably a mistake as it is an approved used car.
This did not rest easy with me, I was mulling it over in my mind for quite some time, months in fact as I was so sure everything would be fine.
The problem is there is no service history. There is absolutely no evidence of a service before the one I had completed at 42,000 miles.
I do not feel this is right.
has anyone any idea if I can do anything at all?
I have covered over 11000 miles in the car, so obviously the dealer will not refund my money but what can I do?
I have called the dealer 3 times but the salesman is always busy and they never call back.

What do you want to happen, given the miles and timescales involved I would be surprised if you get anything.
Why dont you ring a different dealer and ask them to check the service history on their system at least then you will have the correct info0 -
A car with no service history cannot be part of the approved used scheme, in fact its a base requirement. I know others who have had major problems with this particular franchise partner of BMW.
When did you first notify the dealership of the problem? If you pop into a local dealership they can read the key and tell you what the service history is in full. If not I would be getting in touch with BMW Customer Services if the dealer keeps ignoring you.
