We have been sent the above form regarding a decessed relative. They are asking for details of the person's estate incase there was an over payment of benefits. They only received Attendance Allowance and state pension and they were granted CHC payments 3 days before they died. Reading the form it states its concerned about income related benefits. Are the benefits they received income related ? Do we have to return this form ?

State Pension and Attendance Allowance are not means tested. Are you sure he didn't get Pension Credit too?
CHC has nothing to do with DWP.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -

I'm not familiar with the form but if you are right that it only refers to means tested benefits then may be you should ring DWP and ask why it has been issued.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
