Royalty Exchange

I recently found a website call 'Royalty Exchange' where you can buy / sell and potentially make a profit from artists Royalties. Be they musical, literary or even patents or inventions it seems.
Be interested to hear if anyone heard or even dabbled in this? Just getting my head around the website at the moment. Obviously a very 'alternative' investment that would need careful assessment before parting with hard earned cash!

"This membership program is simple: you pay an initiation fee and then annual dues. The initiation fee is $4,997, including your first year’s access. After that, you’ll pay just $997 per year to maintain your membership."

Better to go with something that’s listed. For music royalties there’s e.g., Hipgnosis LSE:SONG, Roundhill Music and Universal Music Group NV  NL:UMG.
  • Linton - it seem the fees you quoted are for selling your Royalties - not purchasing one.
I will peruse their site some more when I've got a mo'.
  • wmb194 - had no idea that such places existed, or that investing in Royalties was a 'thing'!

Many famous artistes have sold their royalties for lots of money to various companies. That doesn't mean this company is a good investment though.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
