Advice regarding lost stuitcase

Hi, hopefully someone can offer advice.
I travelled to Hurghada with Tui on 16th December, they lost my suitcase, I was given a PIR number. I tried to claim via my own travel insurence but they require a confirmation from TUI that the suitcase is deemed lost, I contacted tui secondary tracing team and they said they can't provide the confirmation as they are still trying to find the suitcase ( it's been 55 days since it went missing!!!) They said I need to complete Tui online claim form which I have done, however I have not heard anything for weeks now and there is no contact number that I can chase this up and the staff on the live chat can't help.
Has anyone had any experience on how to get tui to confirm that a suitcase is lost??
