If it's just a second copy of exactly the same Claim Form then, other than possible confusion, I cannot see what harm can be done.
Maybe a phone call on Monday to the County Court Business Centre - number on the Claim Form - to express your concerns would be a good idea.2 -
Note that the contract is at the time of the parking event, so the signage now may be irrelevant.
C will have to prove what signage was there in 2017 and subsequently. That may not be entirely easy.3 -
Someone else reported a duplicate claim form this week. CCBC are having a mare.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As the majority of our defence is based on there being multiple PCNs that we have said we never received (they were thrown away & ignored as we stupidly thought they would 'go away') and the POC are spurious, is there any downside to putting in a SAR at this stage? I wondered if receiving copies of the PCNs now would give the Claimant potential ammunition to fire back and negate the defence.0 -

The Defendant received no PCNs (either on the vehicle or by post) and is unable, on the basis of the incoherent Particulars of Claim ('POC'), to understand properly and specifically what case is being pursued.Whilst this is likely to end up discontinued based on the history of DCB Legal, had not the OP be wary of what is written in a statement of truth and what is claimed above?2

I was wondering if a SAR at this stage (having already submitted the defence) would help me by revealing the hand that the Claimant is likely to show in Court or potentially taint us as liars as suggested by @B789 above1 -
Yes a SAR is worth doing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
