The link of Lodge Parking on BPA AoS members list only takes you to "Complaints Procedure" - and the privacy link at the bottom takes you to a page stating:-"Privacy Policy coming soon"0

There is until tomorrow to pay the £100 or another 14 days to appeal to Popla who above people have also said are useless.
My concern is that this is causing stress on the driver and they are in the middle of some significant life events that are already causing an abundance of stress.
There's been no response from the BPA from previous correspondence and the driver is thinking of just paying the fine to stop the stress (which believe me I know is exactly what these companies are hoping for).

Just ignore the supposed deadline snd chase up the complaint.
No paying 'for a quiet life'.
If everyone did that then we wouldn't have the new law coming in next year with robust rules curbing this rogue industry. Personally I've been assisting the Govt with the new Code of Practice since 2020 (in my own time, unpaid, fighting the motorists' corner) and I'm not expending all that effort, only to see people just pay up!

One question from me, just to soothe the driver in question. If a Popla appeal was submitted and then they SHOULD again put the ticket on hold (this is even just to prolong the process so the BPA or MP can respond and resolve), would the amount stay at £100 or go to £170 as predatory ZZPS put it up to?0 -
Debt collectors such as DRP, ZZPS (same debt company, different desk), Zenith etcetera are powerless and can safely be ignored. THEY cannot add anything.

Likely someone will add on the silly 'admin/debt collection,/contractual fee' (whatever they decide to call it) Doesn't make it any more difficult to defend should it get to court, and pretty safe in the knowledge that most judges kick the add-on straight into touch. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

By putting in a POPLA appeal it stays (during that process) at £100. At least a month, and don't use the POPLA Code in a rush as it will work until day 33 from rejection letter.
Stretch the time out and escalate the complaints.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
