I want to get a credit card with a small limit for Section 75 purposes only.

I have one 11 year old debt that got a CCJ just before 6 year limitation, I have never acknowledge the debt and it pass 6 years this year or next year maybe.

Is there a Credit Card that might accept me?

Will it make the other company likely to start chasing again?

Is it possible for them to transfer the old debt in some way?

Thanks @MorningcoffeeIV pretty much what I thought.

I vowed never to get credit again and I would pay off as soon as I made each purchase.

I hardly every buy anything over £100 anyway but I like the idea of Section 75 protection.

I can always get one of my kids to make the purchase on their credit card, just wanted to save them the hassle.

If someone else uses their card to make a purchase on your behalf, then you won't be covered by S75 anyway.

I have 10 credit cards and 9 of them were applied for after I received a CCJ. 3 of them applied for before the CCJ was satisfied. CCJ doesn't drop off my file until next year. One of the cards is an AMEX.
