• Win an early morning tour of the Summer Exhibition, the Royal Academy’s annual celebration of art and creativity.

  Experience the world’s largest open submission exhibition in the heart of London’s Mayfair, co-ordinated by British painter David Remfry RA, and a committee of artists and architects who will select works from every available medium. The exhibition will follow the tradition established in 1769, which directs all profits to support Britain’s oldest art school, the RA Schools. This year it will explore the theme Only Connect, taken from the famous quote in Howards End by E.M. Forster.

  The lucky winner will visit the exhibition with up to four guests. Your tour will take place before public opening hours on a Friday morning, by mutual arrangement, during the run of the Summer Exhibition (13 June – 20 August 2023).

  One of our guides will lead you and your party around the exhibition, enlivening your tour with expert insight and knowledge.

Competition closes at midnight on 26 March 2023
– Open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over. Employees of the RA, Camelot UK Lotteries Ltd and their family and friends are not eligible for entry.
– One winner plus up to 4 guests will receive one guided 30-minute tour of Summer Exhibition 2023, on a Friday morning before the exhibition opens to the public at 10am. A date and time to be decided by mutual agreement within the exhibition run.
– The prize does NOT include any insurance or any other expenses to travel or stay in London.
– The prize is as stated, no cash alternative and non-transferable.
– Winners must claim their prize within 3 days of notification. In the event that the winner does not claim their prize within 3 days, another winner will be drawn at random.
– The RA has the right to withdraw this prize at any time.
– Summer Exhibition 2023 is open to the public in the Main Galleries from 13 June until 20 August 2023.
