Morning all, bbbbrrrrr, it’s chilly here for Kent, a proper frost.
Soup on the hob for lunch, then need to go to out of town shopping centre to get a new spare room duvet, painting nearly done, then little spare room and hall, stairs and landing, just a freshen up.
decluttering as I go, much easier to just not put stuff back isn’t it.
take care allCarolbee7 -
hello everyone
Just eating very nice bacon rolls for lunch. I've been down to mam and dads for a cuppa and a natter this morning. Mam was telling me how, when she was in her last week of school aged 15, all the nearby employers came into school and said what staff they needed. You put your hand up, went for an interview after school and started work the next Monday. She put her hand up to work in an antique shop, though she had no idea what an antique was!
My dad's first job was as a cabin boy in a signal box aged 14 - that was the 'family job' so it was just expected he'd do the same as his dad, grandad and uncles.
I'm waffling...going into town soon as I'm stewarding at our local cinema this afternoon for the film 'Empire of Light' - I'm looking forward to it.
Hope everyone has a good day today x8 -

I am tucking into cheese on toast….love cheese on toast!
quite a good day workwise for a change, had a bit of a laugh 😁 trying to speak to someone who is getting our process wrong so thought they might appreciate a bit of “this is what we need and why” but my calls are being avoided….I’m not an ogre!
Going to do some arty stuff after tea…I started painting rocks for my garden a while ago and have got into epoxy resin and want to do some spheres to hang out…sounds a bit naff but I have a good eye for colour and am sure it will turn out fine!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇

On quickly after a day in the office. It was a very frosty start and when I got home, I had dinner then a nice hot bath, facemask and am sat in my PJs. DH has gone out with his mates to a pub quiz. Bliss!
Happy Birthday to Mr Snoozer, and hope the appointment goes well @snoozer x
Well done on the weight loss @IzzyBee - slow and steady! x
Boo to the defunct dw @Gers but it has served you well. Ours gave up the ghost in September after 11 years but we only replaced just before Christmas.
We have a size and shape exercise starting at work. I'm strapping in!
