Hi,
I belong to a small community group with approx. 100ish people in it. We currently have a website and we have had the domain name for a long time, we having been using the mail forwarding via our cpanel for our Admin Group (5 members) admin@ and also for enquiries from the website info@. Our provider has informed us that we can no longer use the mail forwarding due to the amount of spam accumulating in the info@ mailbox. He wants us to use a members personal email for enquiries to our group. We would prefer to be able to use mail forwarding for one email address to contact the admin group. We currently use Gaggle mail to Email the members of the group, but would also like to reduce the cost of this. Could anyone advise a cost effective solution to our email problems?
Thank you

Could you use a new gmail a/c?That's what I ended up doing with my website - they have excellent spam filtration0

I'd say use a Gmail account, or if there's budget and you want to use your domains email address, a few quid per month will get you on a Google Business account. That's what I do for personal emails on my personal domain, and the spam filtering is perfect.0

Why not have at least one person use the mailbox itself, as IMAP connection in case others want to use in the future, and then they'd delete the spam and get the mailbox down to size?1 -
Thank you for your replies. I'm don't really know what I'm doing. I'm going to email the host/provider and see what he suggests. It's a shame, as we are only a small concern. But we have had our email address, for a long time and the spam has obviously got too much!0
