NHS Pension increases

Can I ask does anyone know if NHS pensioners get a letter or some kind of notification each year telling them what their pension increase and new gross pension payment amount will be?

As others have said - you get one written communication a year by post that tells you what your April payment will be and your monthly payment from then on in. Your bank statement will (or at least my HSBC one does) show what's paid in as eg NHS Tax 0000008.40 and the sum actually paid in. As Molerat says, the April payment is always a bit of a mystery, but it settles down after that.
