OP, I do feel for you I really do.... and for what it is worth, I'm rather partial to Karrimor despite them having been taken over by SD. I have several pairs of their sturdier trainers and use them frequently (including for fell walks under certain conditions). I think you're stymied on this one however (though I'd have done the same- chucked the boots rather than lug them around with me once broken). I hope you enjoyed your trip despite the boot debacle.0 -
