Lwcra backdate

Hi there.
I just wondered if anyone had an idea on how long LWCRA backdate payments take to be processed/paid?

I was awarded LWCRA in November 2021 and was told I wouldn't receive any backdate and I would receive my first payment in February. This is due next week.
However, I appealed this decision as my claim started in February 2021 and I have handed in sick notes continuously.
Their decision was overturned and I had a letter on my journal stating they were backdating fully to the original date and I would be paid any money owed.
I have asked how long this would take on my journal but they just said I would be paid when it is calculated.
I just wondered if anyone knew roughly or had any experience in how long that would take?
It took them 10 months to process my claim so just hoping it isn't going to be another long wait.
Many thanks in advance.

They have to recalculate your past statements first to work out exactly how much is owed. You will then receive a letter on your journal telling you how much is owed. It will then be paid into your bank. Often it can take a few weeks for this to happen.

Please note that when your statements are recalculated the new statements will replace the old ones. If you want to keep your current ones you should take copies of them now.

I will just need to be patient. It has been a year of waiting so will be amazing when it is all dealt with 😊
