Cineworld are in a right mess it would be more of a gamble than an investment.

Presumably there's some noise on Reddit or something with a couple of dozen people thinking they can sway the market.

OP, is that the kind of tip you can't talk about?

If so, be very careful, A tiny % of those guys (Wall Street Bets) make money, the vast majority see their outlay reduce to dust.
  • I'm late to this, are Cineworld the new GameStop?

    Should I bet my house?

GME, AMC, BBBY and many others are a trading game, not an investment. They are specifically for a "short squeeze" play. People who knows how to analyse the short data such as Short Interest (SI), Utilisation(U), Days to Cover (DTC), Cost to Borrow (CTB), etc could make a lot of money. Without analysing those data it is a pure gambling.
These data are available for instance in ortex, fintel.
For some people the risk / reward is worthy as in case of fruition of, the short squeeze is triggered the price could up 5X or even more in one day/week.
People who know how to play with short squeeze make a lot of money.

As a regular at horse racing there are two things that tend to stand out.  Don't bet on the festivals and don't bet on Irish racing.  Not far behind is not following betting tipsters.

I could have written that. I would add

Don't bet on something you don't understand or trust. Which brings me back nicely to Irish racing

Always fancied Darktrace myself, I keep seeing it as amongst five lowest. Surely it will go up soon?
