For those of you who have used a mediation service, are there any things to look for specifically? My husband and I agreed to go through mediation. Unfortunately he thinks that I am agreeing with his proposal of a lump sum to buy me out of the property, but I want to sell and split the equity so we have a clean break.
Is there any point in even contacting a mediation service? And is that even possible to do when there has been domestic abuse?0 -

I didn't really understand your point about the house - if he buys you out of the property or if it's sold and split then it's a clean break either way.
