Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very dark frosty start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner was a use up of various bits from fridge freezer and cupboards, so DH had egg and bacon bap, other family member had chicken and rice, and I had some LO bacon saute with some LO veg from the fridge and freezer with some rice - made a nice rice dish. Was a nice change, tonight possibly be LO lamb with mash, veg and gravy.
Work wasn't too bad, there wasn't much on so colleague that's causing issues didn't have much to do so that was fine - although something has come up yesterday that my boss spoke to me about that needs to be resolved - hopefully that will be today.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC. I hope you can get the work problems sorted out, annoying isn't it.It seems to be a dry morning - yesterday was a lovely day, cold though. It was nice to see the sun.Sorry to hear you're still not well Camelot, you're better off at home rather than struggling on at work.Taff, hope you can get your sleeping pattern more organised, it must make life difficult at times.Sorry you didn't get the job Topsy.Ruby, congrats to your Dd, she's done really well..Hope your friends funeral goes as well as these things do. We are going to a funeral tomorrow, a lady who lived up the street who has been ill for a long time. There were only about 7 of us at the book group yesterday, we all thought that the book we'd read hadn't been very good. Unusual that we'd agreed, there are often varying opinions on the books.I know I was going to mention other people, sorry if I've missed anyone - I should make notes! Not a lot happening today, the usual jobs, and we'll be going to the quiz tonight. I've just remembered, I've got to wait in for a delivery today.Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.11

Morning folks - thanks for starting us off nmlc.Monday was on the chilly side of mild, the wind was very nippy, so I succumbed to lighting the stove for a while in the afternoon. I had visited my elderly and frail neighbour for a short while, he eyes lit up at the cashew nuts and immediately dug into them. Then I bumped into the chap up the hill (his son) and his wife so had a nice chat.My plan to eat more veg is going OK, I'm never going to manage 30 different plant foods in a week. That seems a huge number of things to buy, especially when a lot is pre-packaged. And even having five or six a day is a challenge. Anyway, I'm trying!
Today I've agreed to take the wife of the frail neighbour up to Oban for her appointment at her optician, this must surely earn me mega brownie points as she's not an entirely agreeable person, however it needs to be done.I'm sending healing vibes to all our growing list of poorlies and missing, you are all thought about. Happy Tuesday to all. 🥀11 -
Good morning everyone, and thanks for the start nmlc x
A frosty start here today. DH has gone to Solihull and I’m WFH. I didn’t get on yesterday as was in the office. We are having a series of meetings today to be told about the ‘reforms’ for our department – should be interesting.
Dinner tonight is hidden bean pasta with parmesan – a recipe from the Ts magazine that I adapted for SW. Nice a quick and easy for DH to reheat when he eventually gets home.
What book did your club read @ScarletRibbons? I’m always looking for recommendations or those to avoid lol
I too got our washing dry in the sunshine on Sunday @iris. It’s the little things!
Sorry to hear about your friend @RedRuby1231 – I hope they had a fitting send-off x
Hope your heating was sorted @dp1
So sorry to hear about the job @topsyturphy – kudos to you for interviewing when you’ve so much else going on. How is DS doing?
Get better soon @camelot1001 x Another HV fan here – so good!
Wow @-taff (aka Hyacinth Bucket) washing the milk bottles in the DW – that’s impressive! Hope you got your plates and managed to avoid buying anything else – Ikea is lethal!
Glad you’re feeling better @SuffolkSue
Safe travels today @Gers – you are a good friend to your neighbours
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Morning everyone Taff I’m the world’s worst sleeper I know how you feel although I didn’t do to bad last night and didn’t want to get up this morning. It was lovely and bright yesterday but so cold by the time I got to the hairdresser my hands and feet were freezing and I had gloves on then again I’m always wrapped up in plenty of layers. Good deed for the day Gers good luck with your neighbour off to work now then straight to WW I dread them scales I will be back in about 7 tonight ready to eat a horse .thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning All
Doesn't look very inviting out this morning but it's fairly mild. I'm going food shopping with DD this morning, will be good to get out although shopping isn't my first choice of outing but sadly necessary.
Lovely you could see your elderly friend and cheer him up Gers.
Hope you get your work problems sorted out nmlc.
Enjoy your quiz Scarlet.
Love that your little one had to confirm that the doll wasn't a real baby dp1!
Glad you enjoyed your meal out snoozer, hope the poorlies in your household are well soon.
Nothing happening here apart from plodding along, hope you all have a good day. Take care. XX11 -

Morning folks and profuse apologies for being MIA for so long. This latest chest infection really flattened me. I think at last I am feeling marginally better. 7 day supply of anti b's seem to be doing the trick but now I just need some energy back. The abs finish tomorrow so I hope I don't go backwards when they finish. I haven't been through the door for 12 days and if I don't manage it soon I might be frightened of going out. There is a small bonus to this however! Most unlike me I haven't been able to face eating much at all and have lost 6 lbs!
I haven't read back yet (but will do now) so hope I haven't missed anything untoward in our happy little band. Have a good day if you can and ((HUGS)) for fellow poorlies, recovering or fed up. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
