New gas meter turning too fast?

Had a new gas meter fitted on Friday as the battery had died in the old smart meter.

Noticed today how quickly the new meter seemed to be turning when the heating was on (30kWh boiler, not on full heat). It went up by about .008 in 10 seconds. This seems really fast to me, but also aware that we couldn't see the figures changing on the previous smart meter, so maybe it's not. Anyone able to offer a comparison - is this faster than it should be?

    In 10 seconds that are 0.007m3, that is per hour 360*0.007 = 2.52 m3 = 28.2KWh.

    So completely possible.

If it is doing that 24hours it would be different. What is your read for a day?
